With much of the news cycle reporting on COVID-19, the newest Coronavirus, we wanted to reassure you that we are responding to the situation with the following plan.
Our goal is to stay well informed, plan effectively with our staff, and not to overreact or under-react to the current situation.
We are taking extra-precautions with our office cleaning by disinfecting several times a day surfaces such as doorknobs, phones, laptops and desk surfaces regularly.
Our universal precautions continue to be practiced everyday such as continuous hand-washing, gloves, masks and sterilization techniques.
When you come in to the office, please either wash your hands or use the hand sanitizers that are available.
We encourage other forms of greetings, such as elbow or foot bumps, hand gestures such as waving and currently avoid handshaking or hugging.
We ask that if you are feeling sick, please reschedule your appointments. Also, please do not bring sick family members with you to your appointments.
We know that spring break is coming up for many of you and your families. If international travel is planned and you are returning just before your appointment, please let us know if there are any quarantine procedures that you are following.
We are certain that you understand our need to look out for the health and wellness of our patients and our team.
Following these safeguards will help us tremendously in keeping our office healthy-including patients and their families, the doctor and staff.
